Philips Carousel

This is just awesome from Stink Digital and Tribal DDB for Philips cinema HDTV product.

Got to love the hot spots in the actual website

CARDIFF AIRPORT PARKING

This just has to be the weirdest email I'm likely to get. Got to admire Dale, he is right reciprocal linking is beneficial to both parties but I'm not sure anyone looking for Airport parking will find a digital agency in London particularly relevant or useful and like wise not sure any of our potential clients, contacts or team members will be looking for Airport parking in Cardiff.

The moral of the story, even if you are offering me something that is free it has to be relevant.

London Ad industry spoof

Great piss take of the London Advertising Industry from 42 Below.

Great Poster Placement

Nice Fuck you statement from BMW to Audi after they baited them. If you poke a sleeping dragon be prepared for it to wake up a toast you.

I love a good Time Lapse

Something simple yet amazing about this lovely animation sequence.

Airwaves Luchador Advergame

This is a great advergame for Airwaves with a Nacho Libre character called Chlorophllo - but more than that it is great fun to watch, feels like a Tarantino-esque film in parts. I really like the navigation (using a whole side of the keyboard) nice and easy, and the dubbing just makes me chuckle. Hats off to Tribal DDB Paris - best work I've seen from them.

Only thing that I can't work out is why the subtitles are in English?

The copyright to your life?

How important is your Copyright to your life - this film is worth watching if the answer to this question is important to you. It is called we live in public

This reminds me of a consumer version of the Googlezon film some years back. This time with a more populus angle a bit like EDTV / crossed with Big Brother. Shows the future of the reality TV generation not so far away.

Everything is free here except for the video we make of you, that we own. Nice idea.

Customer Service and Twitter

A fantastic example here from the publisher of revolution magazine of how to use Twitter to good effect and surprise your potential readers.

A day or two ago one of our developers Adam posted a comment on twitter that he had found it hard to find Revolution magazine on the newsstand. Several hours later he got a reply on twitter from the publisher saying they had put a complimentary copy in the post. Sure enough the next day a copy was delivered with a comp slip from the publisher. Good effort Andy from Revolution.

Web Trends List

I found this nice idea by iA inc.
There are loads of visual interpretations of the internet but this is a top 100 of all the most popular domains/sites. It also includes the power 100 people. It combines both and uses a map of the Tokyo underground system as the canvass. Nice idea and not too many surprise in the list.
