Toyota Prius iphone app in Time Square

Spotted this on the digital buzz blog. Nice use of blue tooth, digital outdoor and a phone app.

Also fits in nicely with the strap line for the Prius - Moving forward - which works on a number of levels and gives them permission to do activity that is pushing technology on.

Penguin launch Twitterature

I have to hand it to Penguin this is the best use of Twitter I have seen so far. Really nice little campaign in which Penguin have re-written 60 classic books in Tweets - 140 characters.

What a hoot

Another awesome poster

Using technology - courtesy of Osocio Amnesty International rigged up a camera in a bus stop, the camera recognizes when someone is looking at it and changes the image. Very effective, very cool.

Computer Tan

Hats off (but sun tan lotion on) to McCann for this sweet campaign. I saw a digital cross track poster showing the trailer this morning at Oxford Circus tube station and I wrote the url down as it was clearly intriguing and a spoof.

Watch it and go to the site

What a great campaign nicely executed and with a serious message - I didn't know what it was for but it was interesting and I just had to wait to the end to see. Clearly a good cause, and an equally good campaign.

I'm sure there will be an iphone app, and I like the integration of the webcam functionality which more and more people are using in campaigns to capture real consumer reaction, and participation.

How do Goo queue for yours?

Walking to work this morning I saw this interactive ad shell on Tottenham Court road Bus Shelter - with a nice touch screen interactive game for Cadbury Creme Egg. Nice little time killer, and seems to fit with their glass and a half full productions philosophy of spontaneous moments of joy.

Although it cheered me up, it also made me think Advertising for Easter sure starts early these days.
